Parks Board

The Harmony Parks Board is responsible for the borough’s three municipal parks. Those three parks are the Wood Street Park, a passive green space along the Connoquenessing Creek, Swampoodle Park, a multi-purpose park and play area in the Swampoodle section of Harmony, and the Old Schoolhouse playground behind the Borough Building. The Parks Board meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month in the Borough Building meeting room.

Wood Street Park

Wood Street Park is a passive park along the Connoquenessing. It has benches and attractive landscaping. A large park of the decorations and landscaping in this park were a result of Eagle Projects and High School Senior Projects.


Swampoodle Park

This park has a multi-purpose concrete deck for basketball, hockey, and skateboarding. It also has an obstacle course designed for ages 6 – 12.


Old Schoolhouse Playground

This playground is designed for pre-school children. There is a swingset and a climbing box.
